Last summer I was working on a home renovation project. Nothing too fancy, mostly small drywall repairs and a paint job. The house was a bit older then 3 years, "builders paint" throughout. I decided to use Behr paint as I tried it before and had really good results with it. While spending hours picking colors in Home Depo's paint section I've noticed a stand with "Venetian Plaster" chips. That was a "special" paints section, dedicated to
faux finishes. That encounter brought a really sad memories, because a year before I had a total fiasco with Behr's
SandWash paint (that still decorates my house's entrance and cost me 150 CAD to accomplish). But that is a separate story all together. Anyway, I decided to pick up a brochure about Venetian Plaster and research this issue further. I really liked the look and wanted to do something "special", not just a boring paint job. I even bought a CD-ROM, produced by Behr dedicated to their faux finishing products. I wont say it was a total waste of money, but I still had some questions unanswered.
